I can't really comment much about the lamp because It is still in the box. It will be a Christmas gift for a family member who is getting exactly what he wanted!
The 4 Star rating is because the box was damaged in shipping. I opened it up enough to see that the packaging around the lamp appears to be in good shape, I think the lamp was secured from the damage.

The lamp is just what I needed to go on a living room table that is no where near an electrical outlet. Pretty snd functional.
